In the Xtalent solar off-grid system, there are three sources of load electricity: mains, battery priority and photovoltaic. The application scenarios and requirements of photovoltaic off-grid users vary greatly, so different modes should be selected according to the actual needs of users, so as to maximize photovoltaically and meet customer requirements as much as possible.
01- PV preferred power consumption mode
Working principle: Photovoltaic gives priority to the load power supply. When the photovoltaic power is less than the load power, the energy storage battery and photovoltaic together supply power to the load. When there is no photovoltaic power or the battery is low, the inverter automatically switches to the municipal power supply.
Applicable scenario: applied to without power or the power shortage region, mains electricity price is not high, frequent blackouts, note if there is no photovoltaic (PV), but there was plenty of battery power, the inverter will switch to the on load, the electric defect is caused certain power waste, the advantage is that if the mains power outages, and electric battery, can continue to load. Users with high power requirements can choose this mode.
02- Grid preferred mode of consumption
Working principle: No matter whether there is pv or battery, as long as there is mains power detected, the mains will supply power to the load. Only after the mains power failure is detected, the photovoltaic and battery will supply power to the load.
Application scenario: It is used in places where the mains voltage is stable and the price is cheap, but the power supply time is short. Pv energy storage is equivalent to a backup UPS power supply. The advantage of this mode is that pv modules can be configured relatively less, and the initial investment is low.
03- Battery preferred mode
When the photovoltaic power is less than the load power, the energy storage battery and photovoltaic together supply power to the load. When there is no photovoltaic power, the battery power alone supplies power to the load. When the battery power is insufficient, if there is main power detected, the inverter automatically switches to main power supply.
Applicable scenario: applied to without power or the power shortage region, the mains electricity price is higher, often power outages, battery is in low power to use, should pay attention to the inverter can switch to the on load, electric, the advantage is photovoltaic utilization rate is very high, the disadvantage is that users of electricity can't guarantee, when the battery of electric exhausted, but mains power failure, no electricity can be used. Users who do not have a high demand for electricity can choose this mode.
