I looked around Amazon.
For some time, the Cobra CPI 875 power inverter has won the championship.
A little more than $50, it is said to be offering 800 Watts in a row, and I am a little skeptical that the unit will actually run.
However, the comments on the website did not mention the performance of the unit;
They mainly complain about the product description.
I already have the cables, whether they come with them or not, so I went ahead and bought this device.
Luckily I was able to use Amazon Prime and chose $3.

I received the device the next day, but unfortunately there was no electricity everywhere.
However, this is also a good thing because it gives me a chance to test this unit.
It is packed in a black plastic suitcase with the battery cable needed to connect.
Since the unit is rated at 800 watts, you cannot plug it into a standard lighter because you may fuse or overload the car line.
Instead, you have to connect the device directly to the car battery through the included battery cable clip.
The Cobra CPI 875 features two 120 v AC power connections and an additional 5v USB port.
The first electronics I tested included my 50-inch plasma TV, DVR and Xbox 360.
The TV is on very well, but a loud buzz from the power area.
This is because the power inverter outputs a corrected sine wave that can generate noise.
The DVR and Xbox 360 are also working well, and there is no buzz on these components.
I got tired of the buzz on the TV and switched to the LCD display.
The Hum was much quieter this time, but it was still there.
I ran a total of more than 12 hours of LCD display, Xbox 360 and my laptop in two days.
The inverter was fantastic and didn\'t run out of my two batteries as I thought.
I was able to run the LCD, Xbox 360, and laptop for more than 5 hours before my favorite battery voltage was too low (11. 5v).
I could have walked longer, but I didn\'t want to take the risk of the battery running out of power when I needed to leave.
The Cobra CPI 875 did not heat up either, in fact, it was cool to touch throughout the use.
As far as performance is concerned, I can\'t say more because it executes when I need it, which is important to me.
I don\'t have any questions about how it will last, and I\'m looking forward to using it more.
