Introduction to the Xtalent Hybrid Inverter/Charger

Fangpusun Xtalent series inverter for sine wave, power frequency inverter, this is a hybrid inverter, can be 3 sets up to 9 sets of parallel three-phase, and can be used complementary to the power grid, can also be connected to the generator off-grid use.


Xtalent Hybrid Well /Charger common features

Xtalent Hybrid Inverter/Charger not only has the direct AC conversion function, but also has the following six functions:

 

1.AC source assistance (Smart-Boost function)

General description

The function Smart-Boost enables to add to the source the inverter power, like for instance a genset or the shore power.

Features & advantages

· Possibility to undersize an AC source (for example a generator).

· Possibility to add power to almost any other existing inverter (by adding an Xtalent)

· Limitation of the AC source consumption with an automatic reduction of peak loads and an automatic allocation of the power available

 

 

 

2. Optimal solar backup

General description

This application note describes how to use renewable energy in a backup system, even when the system is connected to a grid and grid feeding is not possible.

3. Ensured constant power to a variable speed

General description

A variable speed generator (Dynawatt, DometicTravel_power) produces a precise 230VAc electrical voltage directly from a boat or vehicle engine, independently of engine speed. One problem is that the power output depends on speed of the engine. By adding to the system an Xtalent, it is possible to ensure a constant power at the output whatever the speed of the engine, which allows the use of all loads at all times.

4. Automatic management of two different energy

Sources

General description

This application note explains how a user can easily switch between two different energy sources at the entry of an Xtalent. These two different sources would be, for example in a backup system, the switch between the grid and a generator, or in a marine application, the switch between the shore power and the on board generator.

6. AC Coupling with Xtalent

General description

AC Coupling is a term used to describe systems that combine standard grid tie

inverters (usually feeding all energy produced to grid) and battery based

inverters (usually for off-grid or backup applications).

AC coupling can be used in different ways depending on the application and the

purpose that you are looking for.
